The Jedburgh Pathfinder Kit
The Jedburgh Pathfinder Kit is named after the code name for teams of three who were parachuted into Occupied Europe (primarily France, but also Holland and Belgium) beginning on D-Day (June 6, 1944) to aid local Resistance groups. These teams consisted of a British or American officer, a native of the country, and a non-commissioned radio operator.
