A outdoor survival must have

Brought for sons cadet camps, will also be used for d of e. Perfect size for a rucksack and light enough to not add extra weight. Luckily haven’t had to use it yet and I hope he never has to. This is recommended by the air cadets and they take their safety very seriously especially when climbing mountains. A must have for all kits of hikers, cadets d of e participants and any other outdoor activities. 2 people found this helpful

stars Heavy duty

Proper heavy duty army style emergency shelter. If your after light and sleek don't bother. If your after something that will protect you against whatever a mountain throws at you while waiting for help then this is your thing. The bag is around the same dimensions as an OS map and fits snugly into a pack. I forget it's there.

Great quality and price

It probably is lightweight compared to others but is heavier than I expected. Excellent product though and great value for money

I hope I never have to use this but I do feel better knowing it's in my backpack. No weight at all hardly.

Fit for purpose

I donated a couple of these to homeless at Christmas. Good protection from elements. Great for camping should you get cold at night. Many other uses too.
